Jisung has been working as a vet nurse at Clé Veterinary Clinic for years. He absolutely loves animals! He is very happy at his job seeing lots of them everyday. From cats to dogs to rabbits to reptiles he saw them all! He works alongside the vet doctor with the surname Park.
Doctor Park is quite old already. He's been thinking of retiring already. He loves his job but his old body can't handle it anymore. The day Doctor Park left he cried a lot. After all the doctor guided him specially this clinic is the first job he had. Every extra knowledge he knows was taught by the said doctor.
Without Doctor Park the clinic needed a new one. It was quite a big clinic and lots of animals are brought there so they need to hire a new one. Doctor Park resigned and the new doctor was hired. All Jisung knows is that the new one is named Minho.
He was quite curious about what the new one looks like. He wonders if he is as old or at least several years younger than Dr. Park. He didn't get a glimpse of him as the day the man was interviewed coincided with his day off.
The first time he saw Dr. Lee, he was very dumbfounded. The man is very handsome with a very sharp nose, he's just really really gorgeous on Jisung's opinion. And goddamn those thighs, the way it fits on his slacks is heavenly. He'll worship those thighs on any day.
To tell the truth, Jisung was in a daze for a while that day. He didn't even snap out of it until Felix called him to help assist Dr. Seo.
Felix is his best friend/colleague, they met during their freshman college and became inseparable since then. Dr. Seo, or Seo Changbin is also their friend; he met him through his cousin Chan. He and Changbin-hyung became friends because of music. Chan-hyung works as a music producer, during college Changbin-hyung joined a music club and they met there. Since he's also interested in making music the three of them joined forces to make some and called themselves 3racha.
As of now he and Changbin are focused on their jobs although they still make some music in their free time.
Now back to Jisung's dilemma, Dr. Lee didn't really converse that much. They got along but really didn't know much about each other outside of work. That didn't stop him from liking the other though.
“Hannie.” Felix called as they are currently seated at the clinic's cafeteria since it's lunch time. He looked at Felix as if to question why he called. “You've been staring at him for a longggg time now! Come on! Break's about to finish so eat your food.” He blushed and wondered, ‘did I really stare at him that long?’. For him it was just a quick glance but was shocked to see that there's only like 5-10 mins before break was over but he hadn't even touched his food yet. “oh f*ck!” He quickly stuffed the food in his mouth as there are still other nurses that have to eat their lunches after their break.
He stopped to chew the food but managed to get some eye contact with Dr. Lee. He could see him look at him laugh and shaked his head after seeing him. He's currently 2 tables away from them and was accompanied by Dr. Kim. He got shy so he quickly finished the rest and stood up without drinking. “Oh. Ah?” He pulled the confused Felix up who's not even done eating and made a run for it.
“What the f*ck sungie? I really like that meal!” Felix asked him when they finally got out of the cafeteria. “I'm sorry I'll just treat you later!”, he promised. “Then I want cookies and ice cream! And tell me the reason why later!” Felix told him with squinted eyes.
They didn't have the time to talk further as they are in need to stabilize a dog that got hit by a car. They did what they needed to do and after some time the dog stabilized and is in a better condition.
After their duty Felix guarded Jisung so he couldn't make a run for it. Jisung ended up taking Felix to a nearby cafe. As they waited for their order Felix began asking questions.
“Soooo? What was that all about?”
“I don't know what you are talking about.” Jisung answered almost immediately. Which made Felix roll his eyes. He knew he didn't believe him so he pouted.
“Come onnnn! Spill it baby! And quit those squirrel eyes. I won't fall for it.”
“Dr.leesawmeestuffingmymouthwithfoodquicklyandisawhimlookatmehelaughedand shakedhisheadnowhowwillhelikeme.” He said in one breath and Felix just blinked at him raised his one brow and said “Slower”
He sighed and said it more slowly he knew he didn't have a way out. “Dr. Lee saw me stuffing my mouth with food quickly and I saw him look at me. He laughed and shaked his head. How will he like me now” he said, still in one breath but slowly.
“Aww sungie, before thinking about him liking you. You should gather up some courage to talk to him?”
He knew that but he just got really shy around him.
“I know he'll like you since our Jisungie is just so adorable and lovable!” Felix added and went near him just to pinch his cheeks.
He signed and planted his face flat on the table. Their orders were delivered at their table, cutting their conversation short. Both of them were tired so they just ate, bid farewell and went home to rest.
The next day Felix was looking at him pitifully. He blinked and was about to ask why when they are called because of an emergency. After a busy morning the next time they met was during lunch. But like earlier, Felix is looking at him sadly. They got their food and sat at an empty table. So he asked.
“What's up? Why are you looking like that?”
“Sungie. Have you heard the rumors?”
“Heard what? What rumors?”
Felix didn't answer for a while, he bit his lower lips and took his time to answer.
“Well… um. Dr. Lee, it seems like he has 3 children already.”
“ Oh .”
Oh. What else can he say? He should've known. Like with that face? Of course he'll be taken. Married perhaps?
“But… b—ut where, did that news even come from?” he saw Felix sigh.
“Earlier someone heard him and Dr. Kim talk, both of them have been friends for a long time right!? So um, someone heard Dr. Kim asked Dr. Lee ‘how’s your 3 children?’ and that person personally heard Dr. Lee answered ‘they are fine and healthy’ and that they are currently with their grandma.”
He is utterly devastated by the news. He thought that he's lucky that he hadn't made any move yet. But when they are on duty together he doesn't even see any ring on the ring finger? Is he perhaps a single parent? He could work with that!
He is walking to go back to the nurse station when he hears Dr. Lee conversing with Dr. kim.
“Mom can't look after them on friday. They will go out of the country to celebrate their anniversary.” He heard Dr. Lee sighs.
“What are your plans then? Hotel?”
Hotel?? Who in the right mind would even suggest that! Where is the mother!? Does that mean that there's really no wife?
Did they divorce? Or did his wife die?
“Maybe I'll just get a sitter. It'll only be for a day.”
“I VOLUNTEER!”
The two men were so surprised by the voice that they quickly looked back. Jisung was also surprised he really didn't mean to. He was so embarrassed that he turned into a sungie tomato.
Dr. Kim just blinked and patted Dr. Lee's back, “your problem is solved then! I'll let you two talk.”
Jisung didn't want to talk, he just wanted to be an ostrich for now and bury his head on the ground. They looked at each other for a while. He could see that Dr. Lee was about to speak but he was scared (and embarrassed) so he went ahead and spoke before the other could.
“Um… I'm sorry. I— I was walking and heard you guys. And um, I can do it? Being a sitter that is. Um, please don't leave them at a hotel.”
“But of course you could disagree! No problem at all!”
“Really? That's great then nurse Han! I would be at peace if it's you.” Dr. Lee smiled at him! He could die in peace! “Don't you have anything to do that day?” he added
“None! I got the day off. It's no problem at all.” He said shyly every word spoken became quieter and quieter.
“Dr. Lee could trust me! I promise I'll take care of the kids!”
“Hyung.”
“Ah?”
“Just call me hyung. hm?” Minho smiled at him then he saw the other man pull his phone out and reach it out to him. “Can I please have your number? I'll contact you later.” He quickly typed his number and gave it back to the man.
He saw him type something at the contact name and pressed the call. Jisung's own phone vibrated.
“That's my number. I'll reach out to you later to talk about it ok?” Jisung could only nod as his now hyung walked past him but gave him a pat on the head. He looked at his phone with Minho's current number there. He brainstormed for a lot of names and settled on “ hyung 💗 ” The day goes on and Jisung is on cloud nine till their duty is finished.

After duty he went home and took a shower. When he checked his phone there's an unread message notification.

After that night they continued to chat and became friends. He found out that Dr. Lee is quite a weirdo (in an endearing way) good thing he likes the weirdness! He also found out that his hyung likes to cook, hits the gym, loves dancing (so that's how he got those godly thighs) and loves anime!
Although they agreed for Jisung to come to his house on Thursday, when the anime topic was mentioned they decided to watch some together. That's why Jisung is cuddling with Minho without shame on the living room couch. Around them are the three kids that he's supposed to take care of on friday. The 3 darlings welcomed him so warmly that he almost cried. The three are absolute sweethearts.
They are currently watching howl's moving castle. It actually amazed him how fast Minho and him clicked. It feels like they have known each other since forever.
He was really quite tired so he didn't know that he ended up falling asleep. After a while he got a feeling of being lifted and placed on a soft mattress. He also felt the other side dipped and the feeling of someone planting a kiss on his forehead.
“I have loved you since the first time I saw you.” he heard from a distance.

He was woken up by a fluffy tail waving on his face. When he opened his eyes he saw an unfamiliar surrounding. He remembered that he and Minho were watching a movie together. He must've fallen asleep. He then remembered the feeling of being kissed and the words i love you being said to him.
He went out of the bed but placed a kiss on the mischievous cat child, Dori (who waved a tail on his face) and went to the bathroom to gargle and wash his face. After his normal morning routine, he went out of the room to search for the man. He could see him topless with an apron on cooking something (perhaps breakfast) in the kitchen.
He tiptoed and gave Minho a back hug. Minho was shocked but welcomed the intimate contact nonetheless. Afterall, this is the man who he fell in love with during college.
He first saw him waiting for his friend Felix in front of the practice room.
He was a member of the dance club during college. But when he started his internship, he only went to the practice room during his free time. He never really met Felix back then despite being in the same club. Since his free time = time when the practice is done.
He always saw Jisung there waiting, he wouldn't lie, one glance and cupid gave him one of his arrows. Everything about the younger guy endeared him. He wanted to make a move and court him but he saw him with another guy, who he later on found out that the guy is Jisung's cousin. He got busier and totally lost his chance to ask him out.
He was actually shocked when he saw him at the clinic. He wanted to make a move but was afraid to be rejected, so he just kept quiet. The hardworking attitude and his seriousness toward his job makes him love the other more. Seeing him interact with those animals with such gentleness and kindness made him fall harder. Those heart shaped smiles and those bubbly laughter, he'll do anything for him to keep it. When Jisung decided to butt in on their conversation he was so happy. After all, he could finally start a conversation with him.
“Um. Hyung. Not to be narcissistic but um… did you, perhapskissedmeotheforeheadlastnight?”
Minho laughed and finally faced Jisung. “What's that baby hm?” He smirked.
Jisung blushed at the pet name but he loves it. Not complaining at all!
“Did you perhaps kiss me on my forehead last night?” Jisung looked at him with hopeful eyes white biting his lips.
“Yup. I also said that I love you.”
Jisung short-circuits at that. “Wha—what?”
Minho looked at Jisung gently and reached to cup his cheeks and planted a quick kiss on the boy's pouty lips.
“I love you Jisung-ah.”
“But how? What—? Since when!?” He whined and stomped his feet. Minho then told his story that earned him a flick on his forehead.
“Stupid hyung! Then we would've been together for years!” Minho laughed at the other's adorable antics.
“Don't worry. Now that I got you we have all the time in the world.”
“Be my boyfriend?” Minho added
“Of course.”
They kissed and lived happily ever after.
