She wasn't sure how it got to this point. But when she is ranting about a break and banging on her steering wheel... this was not how she thought it would go. As of right now... Danny is in the backseat in a car seat, her car roof is no longer dented, and there's a man dressed a giant furry bat... at least the kid is cute, and he's making Danny laugh.
But seriously, how did this happen?
Let's rewind a bit...
Jasmine Fenton wanted to experience things in life, and by that, she wanted to experience life... meaning she wanted a boyfriend, not worry about her brother, not worry about her parents who somehow got it in their minds that having children does not equate the same as taking care of an animal; although she wouldn't give them an animal to take care of either. Basically, Jazz just wanted to be somewhat normalish... and she knows that's not a word, but at the moment, her brain is ranting and doesn't care for the little bit of details! She was already twenty-three... no boyfriend, her brother is somehow, still... just... he's something. She wanted something for her. Yes, eventually, she wanted a family right now, though... it was up in the air.
Now, Jazz is not stupid. She knows what happens when you make a wish in Amity Park, and she doesn't... but all the sudden she has a toddler in the backseat of her car crying, a man dropped on top of her roof only to get rolled back on the ground cause of the sudden stop, and a child in the backseat trying to calm Danny... oh, my ancients, that's Danny!
Which brings her back to the man passed out in the passenger seat, the child's name is Robin (it's a 100% a hero's name). She's not her brother. She never got into comics, but the Bat man and Robin look so familiar! Oh... wait... The heavy sigh that comes from her makes the kid look at her before she turns back to the road.
"Oh, ew! Um... Miss, your baby pooped." Robin rolled down the window as Danny giggled and spat a bubble at the older boy. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up."
Jazz only hoped she had a diaper bag in the trunk. She pulled over, stopped the car, and walked around to Danny's car seat, "Hi, little ghostling, did you make mommy a mess?"
"Mama!" Danny giggled, and she smiled and blew a raspberry on his tummy. She walked to the back of the trunk and opened it. Oh, so she did have diapers and other stuff to change Danny... this has to be his mentor's and Desiree's fault. Now, Jazz.. she's been taking care of Danny since she was a kid, but she never had to change his diaper... she did watch videos on how to, though, for a just in case moment... which is this right now. She would have to say Danny is about two years old... her baby brother is no longer her baby brother! But her baby... Ancients... she was a mom.
"One little blob, two little blob..." She was playing with Danny's toes as she finished changing his diaper. She frowned when she felt other fabric in her car.. "Hey, Robin!"
The kid got out of the car, "What's up?"
"Do you want to change out of that and into these clothes?" She pointed to the long-sleeved dark blue shirt, slacks, and a pair of black glasses.
"Uh... How did you know my size?" Robin looked at the older woman in suspicion.
Jazz only raised an eyebrow at him, "I didn't, but clearly someone did, and now they want the four of us together for some reason." The 'oh' face he made was kind of funny. "Let me put Danny back in his car seat, and I'll hold up towel for you to get dressed, alright?"
"Uh... how about we go to a gas station?"
Jazz sighed, "Alright, get back in the car. Keep those clothes in your hands." Danny tugged on her hair, "Hey... no pulling on mommy's hair, baby. That hurts."
"Hungy, mama." Jazz looked at the pouty baby and proceeded to make a bottle, "Do you mind feeding him while putting him back in the car seat? Hopefully, the car will lull him back to sleep."
"Sure, miss! I just have to hold the bottle, right?" Robin looked excited to actually help feed a toddler.
Closing the trunk, she led Robin back into the car and put Danny down, who whimpered from being let go. She put the bottle to Danny's lips and wiggled it around so he would take it, "Hold it at this angle, and he can do the rest. Danny won't actually be able to hold it by himself, quite yet. However, he can raise his arms, and the touch will do him well. Thank you, Robin."
"You're welcome! Do you mind if we also pick up food for ourselves, too?" Robin asked shyly. Jazz giggled and agreed.
"Yeah, we can." She had answered back. She watched from the corner of her eye to the right of her was Batman, who was deathly still... breathing as someone who has been awake for a while. Well, she'll get to the point of questions back and forth eventually... right now, though, she would rather get to the gas station. Let Batman and Robin change into regular clothes and hope she gets a message from Danny's Mentor and figure out if she's still in her dimension or if she's in Batman's. The Future headaches.
